Residential, Commercial & Industrial experts in:

Hazardous Removal Company is a fully licensed asbestos removal contractor covering residential, commercial and industrial sites across Sydney, Wollongong, the Central Coast and regional NSW. We hold SafeWork NSW licence AD213403, and our team handles every stage of the job: testing, removal, air monitoring, legal disposal, and clearance certification. Whether you need a single sample tested or a full commercial asbestos register, the services below show what we do and how each one fits into a safe, compliant job.

Our services fall into three groups: removal work, testing and compliance, and broader environmental services.

Sample
Testing.

Properly and safely testing your home or building for asbestos requires a trained team to ensure both that all dangerous traces are found and that no testers are harmed in the process.

Asbestos & Hazardous Removal.

Don’t put your family or yourself at risk. HRC is the trusted household name in asbestos removal. Contact us to find out how we can assist you with any type of asbestos removal or remediation.

Material
Encapsulation.

Encapsulation is an alternative method to contain any hazardous materials. If your project is suitable for encapsulation, it is a cheaper solution to getting the hazardous materials removed.

Air
Monitoring.

HRC has a team of experts to analyse the air in any given area to measure the amount of asbestos fibres present in the air. This is usually done during the removal process to ensure the air quality is safe.

Clearance
Certificates.

Clearance certificates are legally required for any asbestos removal jobs that are larger than 10m² by NSW safe work law. We provide clearance certificates through our team of Licenced accessors.

Asbestos
Registers.

We efficiently & speedily assist you with all asbestos register requirements. Our assessors are fully licenced and experienced, providing comprehensive and easily understandable asbestos registers.

Friable

If you have any friable asbestos in your home, office, worksite or building, we have an experienced team of professionals that can remove any friable asbestos that may be present.

Demolition.

We're committed to carrying out your demolition project in a safe and efficient way. We are ambitious enough to tackle the largest projects, while keen to dedicate our maximum efforts to the smallest jobs.

Removal Services

Any job involving physical removal of asbestos-containing material falls into this category. Depending on the type of material, its location and its condition, different licences and procedures apply. We carry both Class A (friable) and Class B (non-friable) capabilities, which means we can take on any residential or commercial asbestos removal project across NSW.

Asbestos Removal Sydney is our primary removal service. It covers every common situation: fibro walls, eaves, roof sheeting, cement sheet, vinyl floor tiles and more. We quote every job on site, never over the phone.

Residential Asbestos Removal is dedicated to homeowners, with a focus on renovations, pre-sale inspections and emergency damage. We explain the process in plain language and work around your family’s schedule.

Commercial Asbestos Removal handles warehouses, offices, retail sites, strata buildings and industrial properties. We coordinate with property managers, builders and principal contractors to keep sites compliant and projects on schedule.

Friable Asbestos Removal covers loose, damaged or fibrous asbestos products. This is the highest-risk category of asbestos work and legally requires a Class A licensed removalist. Many competitors cannot take on these jobs.

Bonded Asbestos Removal handles non-friable materials where asbestos fibres are locked into cement or other bonding agents. Most fibro sheeting, cement wall panels and old roof sheets fall into this category.

Bathroom Asbestos Removal is one of the most common residential jobs we do. Wet walls and tile backing in pre-1990 bathrooms often contain asbestos. We clear it safely so your renovation can start.

Garage Asbestos Removal deals with the detached garages, sheds and outbuildings that are common across Sydney’s older suburbs. Fibro walls and cement roof sheeting are the usual culprits.

Asbestos Roof Sheeting Removal covers the removal of old cement fibre roof sheets on homes, garages, factories and rural buildings. We handle the removal, containment and legal disposal in one job.

Asbestos Demolition is available for properties where asbestos is present alongside a broader demolition scope. We remove the asbestos first, then coordinate demolition with our trusted partners.

Testing and Compliance

Before you remove anything, you need to know exactly what you are dealing with. After removal, you need documentation that proves the job was done right. These services cover both sides of that requirement.

Asbestos Testing Sydney is the starting point for most of our clients. We inspect the site, take samples, and send them to a NATA-accredited laboratory for analysis. You get the result in writing.

Asbestos Sample Testing covers the laboratory side of testing. If you have already taken a sample yourself or through another contractor, we can arrange NATA-accredited lab analysis.

Asbestos Inspection covers pre-renovation, pre-purchase and workplace inspections. Licensed assessors walk the property, identify every suspect material, and produce a written report with photos and recommendations.

Air Monitoring Sydney is carried out during and after removal work. Our licensed assessors set up calibrated air pumps to measure fibre concentrations, confirming the site is safe for re-entry. This is a legal requirement for friable removal work.

Clearance Certificates are issued by licensed assessors after removal work is finished. They confirm the area is safe and asbestos-free. In NSW, these are required for any job larger than 10m².

Asbestos Registers are a legal requirement for all commercial buildings constructed before 2004. Our assessors produce clear, easy-to-read registers identifying every asbestos-containing material on site, plus a risk management plan.

Environmental Services

Beyond buildings, asbestos can contaminate soil, mulch, fill and waste streams. These services address the broader environmental side of asbestos management.

Material Encapsulation is a lower-cost alternative to removal, where asbestos-containing material is sealed in place using certified coatings. This works when the material is stable, intact and not going to be disturbed. It is not a permanent solution but it is a valid one for the right situation.

Asbestos Disposal handles the transport and legal disposal of asbestos waste. All waste goes to EPA-approved facilities with full transport documentation. This is included in every removal job.

Asbestos Soil Testing checks for contamination in soil, fill and excavated material. This is often needed before earthworks, landscaping or site development on older properties.

Mulch Contamination Testing tests mulch, garden fill and topsoil for asbestos fragments. Following the 2024 mulch contamination events in Sydney, this service has become a routine part of landscape and council work.
